Stock-Feet in the grass

say it like you understand ...

Having the kiddos out of school this week is throwing me off. It's funny because yesterday it shouldn't have been an issue since I worked when the kids would have normally been at school. Yet, it was. It's weird. I don't like it.

So beyond me being thrown all out of whack (which happens more often than I'm comfortable admitting to), I've been having an existential crisis. Not really. What's really been happening is that I think I need to pull out my Epic Werewolf Masterpiece #1 and get back to editing it. And finished the Epic Werewolf Masterpiece #2. And then edit it. And then outline for book 3. And then write it and edit it. And then submit all of them to a publishing house so I can fulfill my lifelong dream of being a published writer.

Sometimes I feel like the biggest slacker on the planet. And sometimes I don't.

Shockingly, I'm going to talk about books for a second. I know. You almost don't know where this is coming from.

As usual, I'm a review or two behind. Nothing new there, though.
Book #166 - Master of None (Gavyn Donatti #1) by Sonya Bateman - I loved this one. It walked the perfect line between snark, humor and horror. It was exactly the type of book I was looking to read yesterday.
Teaser Tuesday - Steampunk and that awesome Urban Fantasy that I already reviewed. Lovely.

In other news, my sore throat has disappeared again. I'm not saying it's GONE until I'm sore throat free for a few days because I totally jumped the gun last time when I said I was better. So, yeah. No gun jumping. But I do feel better. Yay!

I promised Hailey we would go to the library at 10. As she's impatiently pointing out, it's 10 RIGHT NOW! Therefore, I must go.
