Stock-All these witchy things

I could skate away ...

I know everyone is worrying about this, so I'll let you know right off the bat that I got some of those things I had planned on doing yesterday (and which tragically fell by the wayside) done today. Whew! What a relief, huh? Yep, I cleaned the hell out of my bathroom. There was scrubbing. Possibly cursing. My wrist hurts now. It was very serious scrubbing. Very.Serious.

Amb also stopped by for a visit. Still no labor pains. I really thought the little booger would make an appearance today. It just goes to show you that I'm not as psychic as I think I am. Although there are still a few hours left before today turns into tomorrow... perhaps my psychic-ness will hold up. And perhaps it won't.

In other news ...
Book #67 - Unleash the Night (Dark-Hunter #9) by Sherrilyn Kenyon - Remember how I was all "I'm so impressed with how Sherrilyn Kenyon doesn't recycle the same old problems over and over again". Yeah. I still mean it. Wren is a hybrid Were-Hunter who's been hunted down by various members of his family for practically his entire life. Maggie is the human daughter of a senator with a few daddy issues. He's sullen and nearly feral, she feels like she's trapped in a life she doesn't want. Guess what happens when they meet up? They find the courage to live and fight for the things that matter to them.

Book #68 - Dark Side of the Moon (Dark-Hunter #10) by Sherrilyn Kenyon - For some reason this book makes me smile. Maybe it's the idea of a head Squire running a tabloid newspaper just so he can keep an eye on the goings on in the Supernatural community. I liked the depth that Stryker is beginning to show. For a bad guy he has some honor. And there are so many questions. Every book gives you a few tantalizing answers while introducing characters and situations that open up even more questions. So, our mains here are Ravyn, an Arcadian Were-Hunter turned Dark-Hunter, and Susan, a disgraced journalist who works for the local tabloid. There's a bit of intrigue that pops up when it seems that the Daimons are getting widespread help from humans in high places. Susan is the perfect person to help ferret out the truth. You know, being a journalist and all. Several characters are brought back (one especially whose story I can't wait to read) and a few new ones are introduced that I'm hoping to see again.

My wrist is seriously killing me. Like, whoa.
I'm going to go be a slug for a bit and watch TV. Fun stuff.

Well today was the due date, right? Interesting that he's just not ready yet! Wish her well for me.

According to statistics, only 5% of babies are born on their actual due date. In other words, the baby comes when the baby is good and ready!

Well Alex was ready EARLY then...by 2 weeks. Yay me..he hasn't been ready early or on time since!

Haha! Isn't that the way it always works?!?
