DW-Quote-The whole of time and space

Ahh ... Venice.

I have a long, drawn out story to tell. But I'm not feeling up to it at the moment. Instead, I'll tell you about the books I read today ...

Book #9 - The Tuesday Club Murders by Agatha Christie - This was a more a collection of short mysteries than a proper mystery novel. Sad. I liked the book mostly because Miss Marple makes me smile, but I really do prefer novel-length mysteries. They tend to have more meat on their bones. :)

Book#10 - The City of Ember by Jeanne Duprau - Cole and I watched the movie the other day and it was good and I found it entertaining and I was curious where the story went when I saw that there are 4 books total in the series. So I read this one. I liked it. It was a very quick read (honestly, 2 to 2.5 hours) but it was fun and I like the idea of a city built underground that's slowly winding down. I'll be reading the next in the series soon.

I've also been watching hordes of movies while reading. Let's see ... Spaceballs (always good for a laugh or two), Poseidon (danger! water! boats! Oh, my!), The Fog (1980) (ghost stories make me smile) and ... well, whatever I put in next. All in all, a very productive day. Yes? No? Yes.

I'm sure I'll have more to say tomorrow. Toodles.
