Book #25 - Shards of Crimson by Liz Maverick, Patti O'Shea, Carolyn Jewel and Jade Lee - This is a book of short stories set in the Crimson City universe and I LIKED ALL OF THEM! It was pretty cool. I'd just like to say that I didn't have a single re-read in the first 25 books of the year. I'm so proud of myself.

My bookcase is completely awesome. I like to just look at how nicely it's organized. :) Yeah, dork much. I took pictures but I haven't quite reached the point where they're uploaded anywhere. Thus, you cannot yet see them.

Randomly, Cole spent the day in Carmel visiting his grandparents and Hailey and I hung out together all day and watched movies. We watched Tremors (because 4 year olds need to see what carnivorous mutated worms can do to the human population), The Little Mermaid (because Hailey likes it) and Aladdin (which we watched yesterday but whatever). Then Hailey wandered off and I watched Hatchet. Awesome horror movie. Seriously awesome. I think the guys will like it because it takes place in New Orleans during Mardi Gras (lots of gratuitous jiggling boobies) and everyone else will like it because DEMENTED KILLER IN THE SWAMP! Once again, oddmonster has recced an extremely random and immensely enjoyable horror movie. Two thumbs up. I'd give it more, but that's all the thumbs I have.

I also watched White Noise 2 over the weekend (with jenah) and I found it quite enjoyable. Nathan Fillion was very good. Katee Sackhoff was very good. I don't think it was anything like the first White Noise but it's been a while since I watched that one so maybe I'm wrong. Anyway. It was good.

I think I'm done. :)

See, this is the beauty of severed hands: more thumbs to give to Hatchet.

I can't argue with that. At all.
