Stock-Books-Stack of books

I think she'll know ...

I wasn't planning on finishing this book until tomorrow, but what the hell ...
Book #13 - 2nd Chance by James Patterson - Honestly, these books aren't terribly difficult to read. I, of course, get the murderer wrong every time. In fact, I usually think it's everybody but the person that it is. Still, they're easy on the brain and the eyes and the 2-3 page chapters make you feel like you're flying.

I checked my recently played music on my iTunes and I have a whopping 2637 songs on it. That would be what I've listened to in the last 2 weeks. Ye Gods! I've listened to everything I have since the 1st of the year and the bulk of it has been in the last 2 weeks. That's a crazy amount of music. Crazy. See? This is what happens when the TV is turned off because there's nothing new on. I listen to music and read.

Speaking of TV, I watched the first 2 episodes of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and it's freaking awesome. I haven't watched last night's yet but that's next on my list of things to do. Well, it would be if I had an actual list. I'd also have on there to put my new 2009 registration sticker on my car. I've had it for a week or two already, I really think it's time to get it on there. But I digress. I don't have an actual list. Just a random jumble of things in my head.

What was I talking about again?

Oh! My grandma told me that her library sells paperback books for .50$ and hardcover books for $2.00 on Wednesdays. You wanna know what I might be doing tomorrow? I'll give you a hint: Going to my grandma's library and buying books. I really need another bookcase.

Now I'm done.

Library sales and "honor books" are a very special kind of danger to the bookshelf-owning community.

I know. I'm a little bit afraid to go but in some ways I feel that I must. I feel like I owe it to myself and the public. Arrgh! Apparently I became a pillaging pirate when I typed that. Strange.

Don't try and kid yourself; you've always been a pillaging pirate.

Ahahahaha! Sadly, it true. I've always been a pillaging pirate. Even before I knew how to pillage. Sometimes you choose the job and sometimes the pirate life chooses you.

Which explains your career choice. You my friend, are a lifer pirate.

I love the icon you chose to go with that comment, btw.

ha! I have a program running on Firefox that automatically chooses my icon for me. I didn't even realize what icon I had until you mentioned it. It is rather appropriate though. *g*

Donate them to the library. The one by Kaiser is closed for a few months for a major renovation but libraries love that stuff. :)

I've really liked the eps so far. I haven't watched the 3rd yet but the timeline paradox was pretty well explained when they went forward in time. I thought. Besides which they made it canon in the 1st movie when Reese was talking about "one possible future" blah, blah. I can totally accept it.

I actually love the irony that Summer Glau brings to the terminator series. I take special glee in seeing little girls kick some big guy ass. I am sure there are psychiatrists that would have a field day with that.
I have this feeling my collection of music might be bigger. I have like 16 GBs of songs on my mp3 player. I have like a voracious appetite for new music. I should check it sometime and see.

I'm hovering around 12 GBs of music so it sounds like you have quite a bit more than me. Word!

I also adore Summer kicking ass. :)
